Assisting Hands Home Care schaumburg/ Park Ridge is looking for dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregivers/CNAs to join our team for full-time or Part time opportunities supporting seniors with a variety of care needs.
We have opportunities available with both companion-level clients and maximum-assistance clients. Whether you enjoy providing companionship and helping with everyday activities or have strong hands-on experience assisting clients with more complex care needs, we would love to hear from you!
Position Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and personal care when required.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Complete accurate care notes and communicate client needs to the office.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or CNA experience preferred.
- Experience with both companion care and hands-on personal care is a plus.
- Hoyer lift and transfer experience is a plus for higher-assistance cases.
- Reliable, professional, patient, and compassionate.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
