At Assisting Hands Home Care, our clients don’t just need help with daily tasks. Many of them live alone, miss the people and activities they used to enjoy, and look forward to their caregiver’s visit more than anything else in their week. That is why companionship is at the center of how we care.

We are a family and veteran-owned agency looking for CNAs & PCAs who want to make a real difference in one person’s life at a time.

Questions Applicants Often Ask

Is this like working in a facility?
No. You will care for one client at a time, in their home, usually for several hours. Personal care is part of the job, but much of your time is spent keeping your client company: talking, cooking, playing cards, looking through photo albums, or getting out of the house together.

Will I see the same clients?
Yes. We match caregivers to clients based on personality and needs, and we keep those matches in place. Consistency is what makes our care work, for our clients and for you.

Do you offer PRN or occasional shifts?
Not at this time. We are hiring caregivers who can commit to a regular weekly schedule.

Do I need home care experience?
It is preferred but not required. What matters most is that you are dependable, warm, and willing to learn how we do things.

What is the interview like?
After a brief phone call, we hold a virtual interview. We ask that you join on time, on camera, from a quiet space, and dressed as you would for a client visit. If something comes up, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead.
