What a Visit Can Look Like

You arrive at 9:00 sharp because your client likes to start her morning at the same time every day. You help her shower and dress, then make breakfast while she tells you about her grandson's ball game. Afterward, the two of you sort the mail, take a short walk, and pick up the puzzle you started last week. Before you leave, you notice she has been coughing more than usual, so you note it in your visit record and call the office.

That is home care at Assisting Hands. Personal care is important, and the relationship is what makes it work. Our clients deserve familiar faces and caregivers they can depend on.

Who We Are Looking For

A CNA or PCA who enjoys conversation and genuinely likes spending time with older adults
Someone clients can set their clock by
A good listener who notices small changes
A person who follows through on instructions the first time and keeps the office informed
A professional who presents well with clients, families, and our team

Your Responsibilities

Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Companionship, engagement, and support with daily routines
Simple meal preparation and light housekeeping
Reporting changes in a client's condition

Requirements

Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA
Reliable transportation
Consistent availability for regular, ongoing schedules (we are not hiring PRN-only at this time)
Excellent attendance, patience, and compassion

What We Provide

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

Our Hiring Process
