Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring Caregivers, PCAs, HHAs, and CNAs for an immediate weekday assignment close to Manassas.
This is a consistent Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule caring for a lady with dementia and another individual recovering from a stroke, both in the same home. We are looking for a dependable caregiver who is comfortable with personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, and supporting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
Additional caregiving opportunities are also available in Manassas, Centreville, Gainesville, Chantilly, Haymarket, and surrounding areas.

What will you do?
- Personal Care Assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
- Transferring, lifting and mobility assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Grocery Shopping
- Meal preparation
- Companionship / Supervision
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor appointments and errands
- Documentation in client's records of the care provided after each visit
What we need from you?
- One year of experience as a caregiver or have a valid PCA, HHA or CNA certificate
- Experience with dementia and/or stroke care preferred
- CPR certification
- Proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable Personal Transportation
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with transfers
- Availability Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
