for a hallway full of patients, private duty home care may be a great fit.
Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring dependable caregivers for one on one care in client
homes throughout Jacksonville, Duval County, and nearby areas.
You can focus on one client at a time and help that person stay safe, comfortable, and
independent at home.
Pay and Benefits
Most of our cases pay $17+ per hour. Higher rates may be available for some cases based
on the schedule, location, client needs, and level of care.
We also offer:
• W2 employment with payroll taxes handled for you
• Same day pay access through TapCheck

• Day evening weekend and some overnight shifts
• Four hour minimum shifts

What You May Help With
Every client is different. Your responsibilities may include:
• Bathing dressing grooming and toileting
• Transfers and help with walking
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping for the client
• Errands or appointments when included in the care plan
• Reporting changes or concerns to the office
Some clients need hands on personal care. Others mainly need supervision,
companionship, meals, reminders, or help around the house.
What We Are Looking For
We want caregivers who are kind, dependable, and professional.
Our clients need someone they can count on. Showing up on time, communicating with
the office, following the care plan, and treating the client with respect all matter.
Requirements
You must have:
• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Level Two Background Screening
• Recent TB screening
• Classroom CPR certification
• HIV AIDS training
• Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Experience caring for seniors or adults who need personal care
• Comfort around pets is preferred because some clients have pets in their homes.
