Location: Kennesaw, GA, with clients in Kennesaw, Acworth and Marietta
Pay: $15–$18/hour, based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Weekday daytime, 20+ hours per week. Overnight shifts also open now.

Most of our clients want the same thing: to stay in the house they raised their family in. Whether that happens usually comes down to whether someone dependable shows up in the morning.

That is the job. We are Assisting Hands Kennesaw, a local team caring for families in this part of Cobb County. You would work in neighborhoods you already drive through: off Barrett Parkway, around Swift-Cantrell, up toward Acworth, down into east Marietta. Short drives, familiar streets, the same clients week after week.

About the schedule

Our biggest need is weekday daytime, roughly 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking for people who can commit to at least 20 hours a week in that window. We build you a consistent schedule with the same clients, so you are not starting over in a new house every week.

Overnight shifts are open right now. If you work days somewhere else and want steady overnight hours, tell us when you apply. That is exactly who we are looking for.

What you'll do

Help with bathing, dressing and grooming
Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
Give medication reminders
Watch for fall risks and changes in how someone is doing
Be a steady, familiar presence. For a lot of our clients, you are the main person they see all day

What we offer

$15–$18 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
W-2 employment: you are our employee, not a contractor. Taxes withheld, real paystubs, no 1099 surprise in April
Paid training. We will train you, and no prior professional caregiving experience is required

What we need from you

Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid Georgia driver's license, plus a reliable, insured vehicle
Current CPR and First Aid certification (must be active when you apply)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
A big plus: experience with bed baths, heavy transfers (helping someone move safely from bed to chair) or dementia care. CNA or PCA background also helps, but isn't required. If you have cared for a family member and you show up when you say you will, we want to talk to you.

What happens after you apply

We reach out to set up a short phone call.
You meet us in person for an interview.
You complete a fingerprint background check at the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. We'll help you book it before you leave the interview.
You join our next weekly orientation and start getting shifts.
