About the Role:
Assisting Hands of North County is looking for compassionate and dedicated Male and Female Caregivers to join our growing team in Oceanside, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients who need daily support, companionship, and care. If you have a heart for helping others, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
Requirements:
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-first attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
- Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
