Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Provide incontinence care
- Help maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Schedule physician and laboratory appointments
- Assist with mobility and transfers while following safe lifting techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Experience providing incontinence care is preferred
- Ability to safely assist and support a client with mobility and transfers
- Comfortable working with a client who uses a wheelchair and is recovering from a stroke
- Ability to communicate in English; Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
- Reliable, punctual, compassionate, and patient
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
Client Information:
- Client speaks English and Spanish
- Client uses a wheelchair and is recovering from a stroke. She can walk with assistance but is fearful of walking.
