On-Call Caregiver – Earn Up to $22/hr + Daily Stipend

Assisting Hands of Collegeville is looking for a select few go-to professionals to support our care team and step in when families need us most. If you want your flexibility to finally pay off, read on. 

The Critical Criteria You Must Meet First:

  • Credentials: You hold an active Pennsylvania CNA license OR have a minimum of 4 years of solid HHA experience.
  • Proximity & Radius: You have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and can travel to any client within Montgomery County.
  • Response Time: You can confidently commit to a 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on-call window and reliably arrive at a client's home within 1 hour of being notified.
The Premium Compensation & Benefits You’ll Enjoy:
  • Guaranteed Daily Stipend: Earn a $60 daily stipend per on-call day ($5/hr from 7 AM–7 PM) just for keeping your phone on—whether you are dispatched to a shift or not!
  • Premium Emergency Pay: Earn $22.00/hour when stepping in for last-minute coverage.
  • Standard Pick-Up Pay: Earn $18.00/hour when choosing to grab extra open shifts at your leisure.
  • Excellent Mileage Tracking: Get reimbursed at a high rate of $0.70/mile for all travel between client homes.

Your Impact as our Field Expert:
  • Anchor open shifts and step in seamlessly during your on-call hours to keep client care uninterrupted.
  • Lead the way with new clients by taking initial shifts, setting a standard of care, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Mentor and provide field support or training to fellow care staff when needed.
  • Observe changes in client health, document vital updates, and coordinate seamlessly with our Client Care Coordinator while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
