Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This role involves assisting with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare meals
- Help maintain a safe home environment
- Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
- Provide support with mobility and transfers
- Assist clients with incontinence care
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with clients with dementia preferred
- Experience with incontinence care preferred
- Experience using a gait belt preferred
- Ability to safely assist and support client mobility and weight transfers
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Strong communication and time management skills
