Join Our Compassionate Team at Assisting Hands Home Care – Central Milwaukee
We are seeking a reliable and caring Caregiver to support a client in Milwaukee, WI. If you enjoy helping others maintain their independence and feel fulfilled through meaningful work, this opportunity is for you.
📅 Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support with dressing and personal grooming
- Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
- Prepare meals based on the client’s routine
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Schedule and accompany client to doctor’s appointments and lab visits
- Safely assist with mobility and handling client's weight
- Comfortable in a home where smoking occurs
- Comfortable around cats
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to client needs
- Able to assist with mobility and light lifting
- Comfortable with pets and in environments where smoking may occur
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow routines
