- Base pay starts at 17 dollars per hour and may increase depending on client care level
- Full time and part time positions available
- Shifts typically range from 4 to 12 hours depending on the care plan
- Clients located within approximately 30 minutes of your home whenever possible

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring caregivers experienced in supporting clients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of cognitive change.
Our caregivers focus on calm routines gentle communication and creating meaningful moments of connection. The goal is to help clients remain safe comfortable and confident while living at home.
Responsibilities
- Maintain structured daily routines that help reduce anxiety and confusion
- Offer reassurance and gentle redirection when clients feel overwhelmed
- Provide personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Monitor safety and support fall prevention and wandering awareness
- Encourage familiar activities and routines that promote comfort and confidence
- Document care notes and communicate updates with the office and family when needed

Requirements
- Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide certification required
- Current CPR certification
- Experience supporting clients with dementia or cognitive changes preferred
- Valid driver license reliable vehicle and auto insurance
- Strong communication skills patience and a calm supportive approach

Care is provided in person in client homes throughout Clay County and surrounding areas
