Description: This position has primary responsibility for marketing research and office back up for Assisting Hands®. The Marketing Specialist will identify referral sources and set up appointments for visits. This position will ensure that a professional, timely, and relevant follow up is done. The Marketing Specialist also responds to inquiries from prospective clients.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required; 2 years of community college or current student preferred

Qualifications:  This position require the willingness to learn new software, flexibility to handle several tasks. 
Excellent interpersonal skills.  Must be well-organized and detailed-oriented. Experience in customer service a plus.  Empathy and kindness a must. Role may evolve over time, with possibility of growth.

Reports to: Agency Director

Primary Duties:

  1. Identify and contact referral sources for conversation,
  2. Take new client inquiry and ensure that a speedy response and home visit is organized,
  3. Assist agency director in setting up marketing meetings and assist in follow up as needed,
  4. Research opportunity for engagement in the community,
  5. Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
Hours: Part time between 9:00 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday

FLSA Status: Hourly non-exempt
Compensación: $18.00 per hour
