- Base pay starts at 17 dollars per hour and may increase depending on client care level
- Full time part time and PRN positions available
- Shifts available days evenings and overnight
- Typical shifts range from 4 to 8 hours
- Some weekend availability may be required
- Clients located within approximately 30 minutes of your home whenever possible

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients receiving hospice services at home.
Caregivers provide non medical comfort focused care while working alongside the client hospice clinical team. This role focuses on maintaining comfort dignity and safety while also giving families needed respite and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship calm presence and family respite support
- Assist with comfort focused personal care including bathing grooming dressing and toileting or incontinence care
- Assist with repositioning bed mobility mouth care linen changes and comfort routines
- Provide light housekeeping and maintain a calm safe environment
- Prepare simple meals and encourage hydration
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
- Support quiet routines and overnight monitoring when assigned
- Document care notes using the caregiver app and report changes in condition to the office or family

Requirements
- Current CPR certification
- Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide certification required for personal care hospice cases
- Valid driver license reliable vehicle and auto insurance
- Smartphone for scheduling and documentation app
- Strong communication skills professionalism and compassionate presence with clients and families
Work Location
- Care is provided in person in clients homes throughout Clay County and surrounding areas
Compensation: $17.00 base per hour, can be more depending on client care level
