Pay and Schedule
  • Base pay starts at 17 dollars per hour and may increase depending on client care level
  • Full time and part time positions available
  • Shifts typically range from 6 to 12 hours and may include day or night shifts
  • Some weekend availability may be required
  • Clients located within approximately 30 minutes of your home whenever possible

Overview
Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring experienced CNA and HHA caregivers for total care cases requiring hands on assistance. These roles support clients who need help with mobility transfers hygiene and comfort focused routines while remaining within the non medical scope of home care.
This position is best suited for caregivers confident in providing full ADL support and using safe transfer techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full assistance with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming toileting and oral care
  • Assist with bed mobility repositioning and pressure relief routines
  • Perform safe transfers using approved techniques and equipment according to the care plan including gait belts slide boards or lifts when required
  • Monitor skin integrity and follow comfort care routines
  • Prepare meals assist with feeding when appropriate and encourage hydration
  • Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
  • Document care and observations through the caregiver app
  • Observe and report changes in condition such as pain confusion skin concerns or mobility changes

Requirements
  • Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide certification required
  • Experience providing total care support in home care or facility settings preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver license reliable vehicle and auto insurance
  • Comfortable assisting with transfers lift equipment and proper body mechanics
  • Ability to travel to client homes within the service area

Work Location
Care is provided in person in clients homes throughout Clay County and surrounding areas


Compensation: $17.00 base per hour, can be more depending on client care level
