Schedule: Mon–Fri 4:00 PM–9:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (28 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Status: Non-exempt
This hybrid role supports both client services and caregiver recruiting during evening hours and weekends. The ideal candidate is an empathetic communicator who can multitask effectively, build strong relationships with clients and caregivers, and drive operational continuity after traditional business hours.
Client Care & Scheduling (Evening/Weekend Coverage)
- Maintain proper staffing levels and confirm shift coverage for the next day/week.
- Handle incoming calls and texts related to schedule changes, call-outs, or urgent client requests.
- Input client/caregiver updates into AxisCare.
- Maintain daily communication logs and follow-up tasks.
- Communicate with caregivers and clients to ensure preparedness for scheduled visits.
- Address inquiries from current or prospective clients, including payment details and care services.
- Recommend updates to Care Plans or follow-ups when necessary.
- Support the Administrator with performance documentation and staff evaluations.
- Contact applicants from all sources (digital and organic ) within 24 hours of applying—evenings included.
- Screen and pre-qualify applicants by phone; review resumes and assist with scheduling interviews.
- Conduct both virtual and in-person interviews with candidates and evaluate
- Initiate onboarding paperwork and confirm Caregiver Orientation logistics.
- Track new hires for their first 30–60 days; conduct check-in calls, document concerns or feedback.
- Respond to caregiver concerns or performance issues during after-hours.
- Support employee retention through trust-building check-ins and policy education.
- Send monthly educational messages to caregiver teams (infection control, policies, etc.).
- Enter and maintain caregiver data in AxisCare.
- Take part in the monthly on-call rotation (1 week/month) to manage urgent scheduling or client issues outside of regular hours.
- Assist with general office tasks as needed: documentation, filing, calls, reporting.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow agency protocols at all times.
- Provide back-up support for Client Care Specialist and Talent Coordinator as needed.
- 1–2 years of experience in home care, healthcare administration, or recruiting.
- Proficient in scheduling and/or applicant tracking software (experience with AxisCare a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during emergencies or after-hours issues.
- Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
