Key Responsibilities
As a CNA in the home, your role is vital in ensuring clients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs. Your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client health or behavior.
- Performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Maintaining accurate records of client care and progress in your care notes.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certificate from an accredited school or agency
- Current CPR completed in person
- State Required certifications for home care: Alzheimer's and Dementia, Assistance with Self Administration of Medication, and HIV/AIDS courses (these courses can be taken online at RN.org or CNAzone.com)
- Weekend and week day availability
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes.
- A genuine passion for helping others and improving lives.
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
