Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for a dedicated caregiver to provide quality in-
home support for a male client in the Katy, TX area. If you have experience in
personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance, we’d love to hear from you!
Job Summary:
We are hiring a compassionate caregiver to assist a male client. The right candidate will be patient,
dependable, and professional, ensuring the client receives quality care with dignity
and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
while promoting independence.
Mobility Support: Assist with transfers, walking, and light exercises.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare simple, nutritious meals according to
dietary needs.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment,
including laundry and basic tidying.
Companionship & Engagement: Provide conversation, companionship, and
encourage participation in daily activities.
Medication Reminders: Ensure medications are taken on schedule as directed.
Monitor & Report: Observe and report changes in health, mood, or behavior to
the care team.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least one year of professional caregiving experience
(preferred experience with male clients).
Skills: Compassionate, reliable, patient, and strong communication skills.
Availability: Flexible to work daytime, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts
as needed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with mobility and perform light
housekeeping.
Certifications (Preferred): CNA, HHA, or other caregiving training is a plus but
not required.
