Essential Duties:
As a Hiring Care Coordinator, you would:
· Recruit staff -grow staff roster to match appropriate caregiver to jobs that are called in by clients, case managers and others using social media and job boards, job fairs, relationship building with CNA/LPN schools.
· Assist with answering phones and performing scheduling, assist with client intake calls for Agency when needed as directed by Lead Care Manager or Agency Manager. This may include on call/ after hours phone support.
· Responsible for maintaining caregiver files and in keeping with state rules for compliance.
· Serves as the primary point of contact for new applicants, and caregivers requiring information for furthering career goals and improving job satisfaction.
· Works closely with accounting to ensure that staff initial and updated pay rates are correct for billing and payroll.
· Effectively communicate with Care Managers and Agency Manager to resolve any issues or concerns regarding general caregiver performance and job satisfaction including but not limited to: conducting supervisory visits as indicated by Care Manager, schedule programming to educate staff, provide feedback from applicants and workers regarding the agency.
· Primary party responsible for recruiting, building retention, and managing training and education for caregivers. This includes monthly newsletter, working with agency manager to address QI issues, and Programing for caregivers quarterly and annually with Agency and Care Manager input.
· Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
· Conduct Onboarding new caregivers and CNAs.
· Call caregiver applicants for a pre-screening.
· Schedule and conduct interviews with applicants.
· Assist applicants with new hire paperwork, collect all the documents from them
· Run reference check.
· Organize and conduct Orientation, assist with scheduling for new hires.
· Schedule online and in person trainings for the new caregivers.
· Assist with obtaining needed certifications.
· Counsel caregivers regarding attendance or performance issues.
· Complete Follow Up Calls to the new and active caregivers.
· Follow up with caregiver pay questions, resend paystubs, etc.
· Maintain office cleanliness.
· Track stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
· Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
Hours: 8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday, shared on-call responsibilities
