Assisting Hands Home Care is looking to train caregivers, to help give you your start in the medical field and hopefully have you grow with us through your career! We will pay you while you take both our online course and in person training! We don't stop there. We will also be with you on your first day meeting a new client and we will join you to help go over the care plan of the client and answer any questions/demonstrate any unfamiliarity with you. We will match your interest with the clients interest so conversation and building trust will start very quickly.  We want to provide the best home care on the seacoast and we can't do that without you! 
If you're in school, working another job or a parent we will work with you to schedule you on the days/times that you have available, not the other way around. 
We have many open shifts for all hours and we even have rolled out our referral program! So come join us and bring a friend!!! 

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older. 
  • Drivers License in good standing 
  • Drivers insurance or willing to obtain before first shift 
  • Active CPR or be willing to obtain before first shift 
  • TB test within the last year or be willing to obtain before first shift 
  • Physical within the last year or obtain before first shift 

Primary Duties:

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the client's residence. 
  • The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care, which may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties.
  • Providing nutritional support as needed.
  • Reporting changes in the client’s condition.
  • Other activities as taught for a specific client and are restricted to the following:
  • Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer lift;
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises;
  • Teaching household routine and skills to well members of the family;
  • Observing appearance and gross behavioral changes in the client and reporting to Assisting Hands.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
