Assisting Hand Home Care is hiring!  No appointment needed! Come and join us between 1pm-3pm every Wednesday for open house in-person interviews.  We are in the Wells Fargo building on the 3rd floor at 10288 W Chatfield Ave, Suite 301, Littleton, CO  80127. 
 

Are you passionate about helping others?  We are looking for compassionate caregivers to help our amazing clients and give peace of mind to their families.  
 
Primary Duties:
 

  1. Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within client’s residence. Duties may include light cleaning, such as straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping, and living areas, washing client's dishes or laundry, and other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the client.
  2. The performance of all personal care activities is contained in a written Plan of Care which may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, dressing, shaving and other duties as assigned.
  3. Run errands or provide transportation to appointments.
  4. Reporting changes in the client’s condition.
  5. Medication reminders - Preparing necessary items such as juice, water, cups, or spoons to assist the client in the self-administration of medication. 
  6. Abides by the agency’s infection control policies, including proper hand washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.
  7. Abides by all policies and procedures outlined in the agency’s Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.
 
Hours:  We understand how difficult it can be to find a job that has work-life balance.  We do our best to provide schedules that work for you and our wonderful clients.  We build our schedules around our client’s specific needs and care plan.  We provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year.  Being an In-Home Care Agency, Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
 
 
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly

 Education: High School Diploma/GED required
 
Qualifications: One (1) year experience in the home (family caregiver is experience). Be able to pass a background check, has a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and a reliable vehicle to drive.
 
 Premium Pay Rate: $19.00/hour on Weekdays shift and $22.00/hour on Weekends shift.
